Went this morning to look at this job. This is what is left of Folly Beach County Park. The job is to take out the building on top of the pilings. I am sure the scope of work will change before I fill out the papers. It all needs to come down and be replaced. The tall walkway is where you use to cross the primary dune.

How old is the existing structure? What do you use to drive new piles?

Be real careful. One of my buddies owns an electrical contracting firm in Cedar Rapids. He did emergency work for the city after the flood and it took a couple of years to get paid.

I think about twenty years old. They drive with either a drop hammer or a diesel hammer.
