Hi guys, new to crawlers and all. Just wondering how to tell when chains are too worn? Thinnest part of the chains I have now are 1/2 -5/8 of an inch. Also don't know if it's a positive ground? It's a 1946 12 volt etc. Guy didn't keep a battery in it because he hardly used it. Shows 3700 hours on the proofmeter.

there are wear limits like any thing else, measure bushing diameter, stretch over a 6 link area, rail thickness.
