Anyone know how to put a better aircleaner on one? I just bought a 212CC to replace an extremely worn Tecumseh HH60 on my Troybilt Horse. Right now it only has the cheap foam square for an air cleaner.
Side note - this thing started on the very first pull after filling it with oil and fuel. Ran well with no obvious issues. Anyone know when/if they quit using the plastic cam gear? |

Hi the older Greyhound 6.5 engine used the same filter as the Honda, a paper cart + a foam pre-filter just looking at the Predator engine picture I'm thinking you could fit a Greyhound ot Honda air cleaner to the Predator.
I have a 6.5 hp Greyhound on my 33" pull behind tiller and it works great plently of power and like you say starts on the first or 2nd pull. |
