I have a 1954 TO 30 that I am trying to change the points, rotor and cap. The auto-zone store got me a distributor cap and it was too short. The rotor was a button, and the points were wrong. Looking at the electrical parts for sale on this site I found a tune up kit for a Tisco distributor that looks like my rotor, points, and cap. What is a Tisco distributor? I thought it should be a Delco unit. Any ideas out there? |

Tisco is a manuf. of replacement/aftermarket tractor parts. As is Sparex, A&I, & Bearco. They sell through dealers.
That all said I got a new dist. cap from here last week, fit just fine on my TE-20. It was an A&I brand. |

Figured out my distributor parts issue at the NAPA store. I have a Ford 8n distributor in my TO30! Finally got the right parts. Must have been switched when the engine was overhauled. |

The Napa part numbers for the distributor are:
Distributor cap- FA352
Rotor-FA67
Points-CS753
Do not have the condenser number because I had a new one that was the same size and I used it. Good luck . |

I need a new bushing for my Delco distributor 1112570. I checked this web site for the bushing but they don't list one or at leas ti couldn't find it.
Does anyone know where to get just the bushing???? I mite need other parts for it too. Not taken it apart yet. It's setting on the bench rite now. but it definately needs a bushing. No, i do not want to buy a whole new distributor. I'd rathe r rebuild my own. -PV8 |
