what size and shape is the single bolt on the tranny side of coupler, parts book only gives part number and cant seem to find it in my bolt pile after new clutch install. |

That is not a true bolt. It is short and it is to align the coupler with the hole in the transmission shaft.It is also smaller on the end so that it fits in the hole located in the transmission shaft. It is also locked in place with a tooth type lock washer. That is why it has a part number(K 573) instead of a 6 digit hardware number |

I believe its 3/8 and 3/4 long with a small point on the tip of it. I hope that helps you. |
