Hi, thinking of picking up a 9n with a sherman trans was this a stock trans? did all of them come this way? thanks |

The Sherman was an add-on gearbox between the original trans and the imput to the rearend,easy to install at the dealer or at home,not all 9n,2n,or 8n's had them,it was a option. |

The shifter in in the bell housing because the Sherman aftermarket trans is also in the bell housing |

The auxiliary trans replaces the input shaft which runs from the flywheel to the transmission. |
