Been running a JD 926 for 7 years with a 185 Allis Chalmers and was wondering if I would have enough HP to pull a 1411? I found a really nice used 1411 that I"m interested in but wanted to know how it would compare with the 926 before I got too serious. Thanks for your help! |

I think you would be going back wards. The NH 1411 does not have near as heavy cutter bar as the JD 926. If you have an impeller and think the rolls will help the hay cure much faster you will find they do not. Just take the time to adjust the 926 for the crop conditions.
The Allis 185 is a little on the small side for either of those mowers. |
