So I was looking at my parts book for the 400 series tractors and noticed that tractors after serial #8067630 had a foot throttle. My 401 is serial #80623?? and it does not have a foot throttle. Was the foot throttle an option on tractors before #8067630? I wad just curious. Thanks.

If you look down to the rear portion of the shift lever cover, there are two bushed holes for the foot throttle pedal shaft My 411 #8062431 has them. I suspect it was a purchasable accesory. Let me know if you find them on yours. Chuck
