I have been told that it is somewhere in the neighborhood of 11 and 3/4 MPH. 4th gear, wide open throttle.
Having been tailed by a vehicle while driving mine in road gear, the consensus is that between 11 and 12 MPH seems correct.

Op manual shows 11 1/4 with standard tires.

Having owned a WD for many years, I feel safe in stating that 9mph is about tops. The WD45 did go faster, however.

We used to farm some land on the next section over and it would take right at 5 Minutes to go a mile which is 12 MPH. Thats wide open in 4th gear on slightly hilly ground so maybe that helped a little.
