Will a governor from a 60 fit a 77. I need anew one and there is 2 for 60s on ebay.

They will fit, but they will not interchange. YOU need one from a 66, 77, 88 or a super 77 or 88. What is wrong with your governor?

My governor is surging when under load like when baling. Took it apart, back of gear is worn badly(on engine block side). No thrust washer. I think it has updated bushing, it has a ridge. I cannot adjust linkage, is adjusted all the way in.
