Plowing Pics

Got out and finished up my fall plowing today. My wife took a few photos so I thought I'd post them. The plow is a Melroe M911 5-18, the G706 pulls it good in 2nd, grunts a bit on the clay hills though.

i got a good runnin g6 diesel that has been rebuilt how many bottoms would that pull in some semi hard ground?

4 or 5 I'd say, 4 for sure, depends on how hard the ground and if its heavy black soil. That g706 must be a little noisy with that strait pipe, seen you had earplugs

Very nice. I have the same setup, just never put them together. Last time I tried plowing with the G706 couldn't get very good traction. No weights or fluid in the tires and the M670 with Moline 4-16 mounted would out plow the G706 with 4-16 Oliver pull plow. G1355 didn't have any trouble with the Melroe 5-18 though.

How do you like your g1355, any problems or does it seem to be a good tractor, I'm gonna get one either way but I know a lot of people like them and some don't but everyone's gonna have there own opinions
