I have a RTS serial # 0024900091. Does this make it the 91st RTS built in 49, or out of total Rs that year? |

10-digit ser.#'s used only in 1949 & '50. 4th & 5th digit indicates the year. maj-mm meant to type that yours was the 91st that year. |

BTW, 10 digits also used in 1948 but no RTS's that year. |

Ya, that's what I figured, he was just thinking 91st and typed 49 because of the year. |
