Joely and I are having a tough Thanksgivng holiday week. Our son Adam has been having heart problems, and we just found out he has a rare heart disease (HOCUM - thickening of heart muscle) which is causing him to pass out at will, bad headaches, and have moderate chest pains for now. Our options are 2 possible heart surgeries or possibly a defibulator to help him. I'm hoping you guys will keep us in your thoughts and prayers. What really stinks is he's only 22 yrs old. Brain and heart scans due today. I apologize for the long note, couldn't keep things inside any longer. Thanks, Mike

Mike,

Having a 23 year old son myself, I can't even begin to imagine the anguish you and you wife must be feeling. Sometimes we get sidetracked with the little problems in life and forget how lucky we have it most of the time and don"t realize what some other people are facing. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Don
