I was hoping someone can tell me what was original as far as the choke controll on this model. Mine has a piece of sturdy or stiff type hay wire from the choke to a bracket mounted on the right side,(when sitting on tractor), of the gas tank with a small spring hay wired from choke to the intake manifold to hold choke open when not needed. Seems to work quite well but don't think its a factory installation. Thanks Rocko. |

The factory choke is a 1/8 rod from the dash right to the carb with a 90 deg bend with a small cotter pin in it. All three of mine had this same setup. No springs anywhere i could find. Hope this helps you out. Duane |
