I'm sure its been talked about, but I am wondering what the best oil for my 41 A with c-113 is? I usually run straight 30 weight non detergent. I've heard 15w40 diesel oil is good. I was going to use 15w40 diesel oil in it because alot of people said its great....feedback on that? |

That should work fine. Multi-weights are nice if you don't have to change to a lighter oil for winter, then again in the spring when it warms up. I use 15-40 in everything except my car. |

I use Delo 15w-40 in my modern diesel trucks and tractor. Rather
that trying to stock different oils for different engines I run it in
everything.
That includes my SC's,200,SH's,300,JD60, lawn mowers, tillers etc. |

I my self will NEVER run a non-detergent type oil in any thing even if that was what was run in it. Now days any oil is by far a whole lot better then what was used in that tractor back in the 40s. So what I am saying any oil even the cheap Wal-Mart oil is just fine. By the way Wal-Mart oil is produced by Valvoline |

You should use detergent oil in the C-113. Non
detergent oil was for lawn mowers, small engines,
and diesels. |
