anyone ever heard of shredded hay you can buy i have never heard of it.vet says one of our horses needs it after getting a sore throat from a blockage in his throat.any ideas thanks

A friend of mine run square bales of straw through a bale chopper for bedding his horses,he says it is easier to clean,probably have to get one real cheap to make it pay for itself. |

They sell chopped alfalfa in a compressed bag at Tractor Supply Co. I have bought it before for the chickens in the winter time. |
