I have tried last week or so to send a private message, and it comes up with a line that says private messaging is under construction. Is this true and I just need to be patient, or is something wrong with my browser or the system?

Brad,
That message isn't true anymore. You've reminded me it's still there. We have the private mail (safemail) that we use instead of that, since classic view isn't capable of using private messaging but does have safemail. If there is not a "Send Email" (classic) link, or Email button (modern view), it means the person doesn't allow private contacts. The best thing to do then, is post a reply to the thread involved.
I will make note of this and get that message corrected tomorrow.
