Does anyone have and/or know of anyone or place that I could purchase a decent and complete D12-15 engine from? It would be nice if they were in Michigan or Northern Ohio.
Thanks, |

You can probably find what you seek at McFadden and Sons in Sharon Springs NY. He usually has just about everything. |

I have a D15/H3 motor that needs two sleeves/pistons/rods and a cam and it would be good to go. I'm in the UP but may be coming down that way over the holidays. I would let it go CHEAP to get it out of the corner of the shop. |

How cheap, I'm interested. Where abouts are you coming down to? Email me if you'd prefer.
Thanks, |

You could give Worthington Ag Parts a try in St. Johns MI. |

Potentially coming down to the Saginaw area. I would let it go for 200 OBO just to make it disappear.

Is that engine complete, ie, manifolds, carb, distibutor, pan, valve cover, all internals, etc? |

Motor is dissembled and in need of a new cam and two new pistons and sleeves. Other than those items it should be complete valve cover to oil pan. |

I'm not overly familiar with the D15 engines. Does that still have the provisions for mounting the front pedestal?
What days are you thinking you are coming down state?
I'm interested just trying to figure out if I can bolt this into my C. I've been told it will fit. I have a C with a bunch of broken stuff inside and thought seems how I have to rebuild one, why not put a little bigger engine in for a bit more power.
Thanks, |

IIRC the D15 tractors used a short frame assembly that went from the front of the transmission up to the front pedestal. There is a plate with 4 bolts that attaches front of the motor and then attaches to both frame rails on either side.
The C has the front pedestal mounted right to the front of the motor correct? Looked at the parts book and it looks like it uses a 4 bolt flange, and that is what is on the front of the D15 motor. Now if the bolt spacing and such is the same I don't know.
Looks like I won't be coming down. My folks are coming up instead and will be returning down that way around the 1st of the year. If your interested I can get pictures the parts I have. Only thing is I would need payment before I load it on a trailer for my father to have to deal with. |

Pictures would be great! If possible could you take some pictures around the front end and those 4 moutning points and if its not too much trouble possibly even hold a tape measure up there so I get an approximate idea as to the spacing.
I can definitely understand payment before loading. If your parents would be ok with bring it back that would be fantastic.
Please send the pictures to my email if you could: schultzyb@yahoo.com
Thanks for the help.
