I recently had to replace the hydraulic pump on my JD320. Parts list shows pump number AM1808, same one used on MT, MI, MC. In comparing parts, it looks like it has same parts as theAM2947 used on 330 and 420,430 except for front plate. I got a AM1808 pump from salvage yard when I disassembled it to put in new O rings the gears were smaller than the one on the tractor and teeth wider spaced. Pump on tractor had casting number ground off of front plate and new number stamped into it so I assume it was rebuilt. Is the 1808 pump lower pressure or volume than the newer style? Was the pump I had updated at some point to the later style?
