Getting hit with a good storm at the moment here in N California - the 'pineapple express' is moving a lot of warm wet weather towards us - has been raining hard since last night and very windy - supposed to ease off later today but then get another come though even stronger - thats when trees might come down as the ground will be soaked.
So far so good but the big trees around the house are flapping around like crazy and making me nervous - hardly got any sleep last night as the wind was howling, rain thrashing the side of the house and the security light kept coming on from moving branches!

Pretty much the same here in S.W., B.C. Looks like it is going to last for a week ! After the driest summer on record I think we are having the wettest November ! Thinking about rice for the front yard. |

Inlaws have house on Saltspring Island and we own a share of a property on Cortez Island - have not had the opportunity to get up there in a long time but when the weather is nice it is a very beautiful part of the world.
