That's a Model 60- with the windrow pickup attachment- looks like the hitch has been modified for a pin, instead of the original ball, and the pto shielding has been removed. Dad's first combine was a 60, purchased about 1949, traded in 1957 for a Model 66. |

That is actually the original hitch. 60s had three different hitches, two pin style and finally the infamous ball hitch. The pto shield on this one would be a straight one not a the split in the middle pinch your hand style. |

My Dad bought a new 60 in 1947 and it had that same hitch. Pulled it with a 1946 WC. |

It's only 30 miles up the road from me. But, I already have a 66 Big Bin taking up space in the shed and don't have room for another. |
