FYI if 1946 it,s a 2n don,t be fooled by the 9n prefix on the s/n.

No such thing as a 1946 (N that would be a 2N. 9N made from 1939 to 1942. Note the first year of each is also the model or the tractor. 2N made from 1942 to 1947 and 8N from 1948 to 1952.
All that side a lot depends on where you are since that part is heavy and hard to ship but if close I do have that part on hand since I have a parts 2N. E-Mail is open

Where are you located John?
Shipping might be expensive if you can't find one locally.
I have one here at my place in mid-Michigan. Still on the tractor.

I have one on a 2N that is on my donor tractor. Located in north central texas.
