Looking for my son a 1/16 scale cotton picker. This is all he wants Santa to bring. He would prefer a John Deere, but at this point we will take whatever we can get. I would appreciate any help with this.

Thanks,
Dawn West

Ertl doesn't show a 1/16 in their catalog. They do show a 1/64 though.

Some of the custom toy builders might make a cotton picker. This would be a model to look at and not play with, being rather pricey. You would need to go to a major toy show or talk to someone that knows these people.

As far as I know there has only been one 1/16 cotton picker built as a production toy in a factory. it was a 2555 IH picker I think. I'm not sure if it was made by Ertl or not though. Like others have said some of the custom toy builders could probably build on. You better be setting down when you get the price on one. I think most of the IH ones that have sold go for $200 plus most of the time. Good luck. I'd like to have a Deere one myself if they would ever build one.
