Hi folks
Brought home the latest addition to the Oliver family on the weekend. It is a 1960 Oliver 500 diesel. It"s going to need some work, but the motor seems to run fine. Surprise, Surprise, couldn"t find the grill screen for it. Not being familiar with this model, does anyone know where I should start looking for one? I"ve tried some salvage yards but no luck. Even if I could borrow one to make a pattern from. I don"t think it would be too difficult to make, but I need something to go by. Any leads or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

You could practically make one from this photo on the link.
You might be able to contact the owner about exact measurements.

Did you have any luck with the grill? I just purchased a 500 and it is missing the insert and emblem. It appears you can fab up the grill but was wondering how you made out. |
