the book shows an o ring under the lift cover and 1 at the bottom of pipe stand .what size are they? |

3/8 x 1/2" x 1/16" (MF part 195561M1) But replace both top and bottom never just one as they compress after being in service for a while and they should be changed every 12 months to prevent high pressure leaks. Be careful when lowering the pipe back into the Pump, you may miss the hole and then you wont have any pressure. What I used to do is fit the pipe into the square plate and then lower the pipe gently, keeping the plate flat and horizontal in all directions so that you have a better chance of finding the hole, it is easy with practice but not so easy if you haven't done it before (its like fishing in the dark) if you have problems doing this, remove the PTO lever and look inside at the front right corner and get someone else to lower the pipe and plate and no bad language when you do it.(see attached picture)..John(UK)....fergusontractors@hotmail.com
