Lots of grime on the front of the engine. Havent found the timing marks on my 600 LP. Need to pressure wash it. Are they on the pulley and timing cover? Thanks

My guess is they would be on the flywheel. Look on the bell housing and see if there is a removable plug, pop out type maybe. If there is remove the plug and have somebody crank it over while you look. There should be a pointer inside that lines up with the timing naks. I don't think it is like an auto where its on the harmonic balancer type pulley.

On my big 400 which has the same timing cover there is a pointer on the large cover over the cam gear (governor on a gas tractor) and notches on the pulley.
