A 19 year old girl from Stromsburg, NE (about 40 miles from me) stole a car in Stromsburg, drove about 20 miles to Waco, NE and used a pistol to stick up the bank for $6,000.

She then posted a video of herself on Facebook bragging about it.

When they arrested her, she was still wearing the same clothes as in her Facebook video and the bank's security camera.

Actually many bank robberies go unsolved as do many other crimes including murders.Mostly cops only catch the really dumb criminals.

It has appeared as a pattern to me that C-store robbers, drug dealers, and the like are often caught after a short time because of routine traffic stops due to vehicle or driving problems, unrelated to the major crime.

That happens all the time in Brayn Texas. Stupid criminals are everywhere over there. Last one caught. Had 75.000 in drugs and cash plus weapons. Ran a stop sign.

One while being booked into jail. Said he was going to kill the arresting officer.

Bryan, it is hard to believe that someone would have 3 felonies by 27. I fully support the police, and think this might help to deter some of the resistance they get. When the police say "get your hands up", you just do it.

We see that all the time here in Nebraska.

I-80 goes through my county, and is the main route for drugs from the west coast to the east coast, and drug money from the east coast back to the west coast. I boggles the mind how stupid some of these "mules" are.

One bonehead from California recently got busted with a million in meth in his van 'cause he stopped and took a leak in broad daylight on the shoulder of I-80.

It's almost like they WANT to get busted. And it's possible they do. About 20 years ago, a local guy was growing marijuana and had a brother selling it on the west coast. When they got busted, the judge was going to let the guy out on bail. The guy pleaded with the judge not to. He figured he was safer in jail than on the street at that point.
