Hey guys! That tractor I asked about a few days ago is in fact an IH 574 w/2050 loader. Gas tractor with 3pt, power steering, live hydraulics and PTO. Now, guy says he had it running a couple years ago but did not run it long because the air cleaner is missing. It has been sitting inside the whole time so I am not worried about getting it going. Questions are: are parts hard to find for these? Is there anything specific to look for or common problems with these tractors? Think they have owned for about 4 years as it came with the property they bought but they already had a tractor so dont use this one because they dont need it. After talking to my buddy (their son) I think I can get it for $1500.

Better quit asking questions and go get, before someone else does. That loader is worth the asking price alone. |

574s are good rigs. Had one for a long time. Pretty much grew up on the thing shredding weeds around fields all summer long. Never had any trouble with it. Easy to operate. Wish I still had it to be honest but the old man eventually traded it off for something newer. IMHO the 574 is still the better tractor. |

Buy it, it's a steal. Biggest problems [I have one too] discussed here are parking brake shot from being driven with it on, dirty old hydraulic/trans oil causing problems, and trash/rust blocking gas tank outlets. |
