Hey Rod I've got those meausurements you wanted for the Tw30 I had with the universal joint problem. The inside diameter of the yoke is 3.915 centimeters and 1.515inches I did both so you could have a better idea of which company may make a bearing and seal kit for it. The ZF ZP4GGG40 is the serial number. |

If it's a cross you need for it... measure the cup size and the distance from the snap ring lands on the yolk (distance across the cups when both cups are bottomed on the cross. Those specs will give someone with a driveline book the info they need to get a cross.
I suspect that IF the yolk was bored it was likely done to fit a very common cross like a 14 or 35 series spicer or something similar. I don't have the specs for that offhand but just about any dealer with a driveline rack will have those books.

The cap what I'd call it which I believe is what you are refering to as the cup I measured that and its diameter was the same as the yokes diameter.I'll have to go look it up on google to see what I can find. The snaprings and that stuff are all torn apart and I didn't know where they were as my neighbor is working on this project I'm just helping him find the right parts. The neighbor is a mechanic as well. |

I'm looking at u-joint Ford part #ZP1927253 which A&I offers a replacement for and shows a cap diameter of 38MM and length from cap end to cap end of 105.6 MM. Looks to me like a Spicer 55 series cross fits my cap to cap length and Ben's yoke diameter very, very closely. No Comer, B&P or Walterschied crosses that A&I list come close dimensionally. |
