Per several suggestions, I regeared the pump from 18:12 (975 RPM @ WOT) to 18:35 (334 RPM @ WOT) The 35 tooth sprocket was the biggest I could find at a reasonable price with a 1" bore.
The sprocket came in today, and it behaves MUCH more reasonably. With the motor at a high idle and the Redneck Flow Divider (RFD) fully closed, it raises at a reasonable rate.
The drop rate is still a little fast, but the RFD controls that nicely.
Thanks for all the input! |

You can always compensate for the fast drop with earmuffs. |
