I just got an 870 Case and I'm thinking about putting a front end loader on it.

Any suggestions for a good reasonably priced sturdy loader (brand name and model#) for loading 1500 LB. round bales, and maybe doing a little digging?

Look for a Great Bend built loaders, as per Case 70/75 series, GB 700/800, or IH branded GB loader, They mount real easy even if you have to make your own mts.
Only downfall, is they restrict battery removal.
Oliver also offered a real adaptible loader that was built by "Swartz ??" Look for a mono side rail loader that clamps to the rear axles, and the front is supported by the nose casting of your 870

YIKES!!!!!!.... I priced a new TA-26, and the starting price was $7,500.00. Shocked

That is $2,500.00 more than I paid for the tractor. Laughing

I'd like to find a good USED loader that will fit on the 870 for about $4,000.00 or less.
