I see you changed your handle when you came to roost here on the Case forum. Welcome. We are all cyber family here, and like first names. No questions are stupid, and tech stuff comes quick on request as you see. Post some pics. of your 830 and other Case , or non Case equipment, that you have.

Tom when i did our 68 830 i needed a wiring map!!! My brother blew up the wiring picture !! Was a BIG help!!! Looks like the one u posted!!!
