Hello; Our bale loading SM has serial # SM 45705 J. Does that make it a 52? And what does the J stand for? I what to order a complete carb kit. Anyone have a good place to order from? Thanks Bobmn |

give rusty farmall a shout for your carb kit. there is a number on a small tag on the carb that identifies it. he will get you the correct kit. |

The s/n 45705 J is a late 1953 Super M produced at the Farmall Plant in Rock Island, Illinois. The J code indicates it was made with a Rockford clutch. Contact Rustyfarmall at www.tornholmsag.com or phone (712) 370-4215 as he is Mr. Carburator for our Farmalls as noted in the earlier post, Hal. |

If you ever need to look up more serial numbers, just look to the left side of this page under the heading "RESEARCH & INFO". There is a section for Serial Numbers there. Simply "drill down" through the brands and models to find out when a tractor was made. |
