For those that want to get it right and don't trust hanging on a cheater bar here is a handy item for your tool chest. A hydraulically actuated torque wrench - appears to come with pump, 1", 3/4". 1/2", aand 3/8" power heads, and a good selection of sockets. You can put it in your Xmas stocking for a mere $15K

Not sue my 6' pipe cost $15 when I got it 30 years

The ones I use at work have interchangeable heads, not
sockets. Interesting. Operating is easy, power to the portable
pump, switch for off/on, flip flop the head for tightening or
loosening. Adjustable psi and conversion charts to lb-ft. Just
watch your fingers, you may NOT keep them if you're not
careful.

If you want to break things loose, save the
hydraulic hassle, look for a Swench.
