When changing from postive ground to negative ground,will it effect the starter? |

As in what way are you talking about?? If going for say 6 volts to 12 volts yes it does effect the starter since it will spin it over faster and much easier to burn it out if you turn the engine over for to long but as for which direction to rotates no it does not matter since the start will spin the same way no matter which way it is grounded |

I believe all the D-17s were 12 volt Positive ground from the factory so I assume you mean will it change the direction of rotation? Nope! |
