My 3 point lift has slowed down to a crawl. Sometimes I pull the lever back and nothing happens for at least a minute. When I tighten the top link it gets worse. At other times it works ok, so it's intermittent. Leakdown is not bad, when tractor is shut down hitch will stay up for hours. Just looking for tips on what to check first.

Any chattering or noise coming from the pump?
Have you tried bleeding the pump?
Could you have bumped or disturbed the suction line in any way?
I would try bleeding the pump first and see what that does.
If it doesn't help or if the lift starts to work but then the problem returns then I would have a look at the ends of the suction line that goes from the rear center housing to the pump for air leakage and maybe put new seals in the line.

I have had very good luck with these by draining the fluid , get as much dirt out as possible then fill with diesel fuel & run it for a couple hours & work the lift up & down a lot. About 60% of the time that works for me.

Check if the flow control knob below the 3 point lever is turned out.
