Need to paint my 2600 Ford. I'd like to have paint codes if possible before I go to the paint store. I have a NAPA store local that carries paint supplies, they're just not very helpful. Does NAPA offer pre mixed paints for tractors? |

I talked to the guys at Napa about that for one of my tractors and they say you do need a paint code for them to mix it for you. They don't seem to have a pre mixed line of paint. |

Napa doesn't sell premixed paint. They are like any other automotive paint supplier. You will need a current paint code for them to mix the paint. One problem you are going to have is a lot of paint codes floating around on the internet are obsolete paint codes for alkyd enamel. If you don't need a perfect authenic paint match you could make a sample with rattle can paint from tractor supply and they can computer match it. You might also check out this web site to see if Ford Tractor Blue is the corect color. http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcodedisplay.cgi?manuf=Ford&model=Tractor
I believe most Napa stores sell Dupont paint so I would look for a Dupont code. |

Here's a link to Rod's paint codes for most tractors. He has PPG and Dupont paint codes. Our local Napa store sells Martin Senour paint. Hal

I've looked at that link before. It might be me but it doesn't seem to make much sense. |

My experience with NAPA Ford Blue is not good. None of them seem to match quite right.I use PPG Omni. |

What's the problem? If you have a part on the tractor that isn't faded your local auto paint store can probably scan the part and come up with
a close paint match. Also NH dealers sell acrylic enamel and may have a color that may be close. Hal |
