A local estate has an old co-op tractor for sale.
They called it a model one with a 4 cylinder gas engine. It was repainted a few years ago and looks pretty good. They said it ran last summer.
Can someone give me an idea of a price range.I know it's tough without seeing it.There thinking in the 3000 dollar range.Sounds high to me. |

There was an E3 on an auction that I went to yesterday. I'd like to say "restored",but repainted was more the word for it. Had an alternator, car tires on the front. I was talking and can't tell you to the dollar, but it brought $2300 or $2400. |

When you say Model 1- is this the older, 1930's model Co-op, not the co-op versions of the Cockshutt tractors beginning in 1946?
Go to "Tractor Photos" on the left, and put in "Co-op" in the search, with the quotation marks. On about the third page are several old Co-op tractors- Models 1, 2 and 3. Take a look and see if that's what we're talking about. If its one of those, in good running condition and good appearance, I'd think 3K is in the ballpark- they're a much rarer tractor than the E3 that rrlund is talking about. |

If that's a Duplex Mch'y/Farmers Cooperatives CO-OP #1 it'll have a Wauk FC engine (there'll probably be some letters/numbers after the FC, assuming the engine tag is still there). |
