Drained all fluid.Put new fluid in.My lift still will not work.Need help.Thanks. |

I assume it's a 9/2/8N. What doesn't work about the lift? Have you done anything in the way of diagnostics?

Its an 8n.Haven't took inspection side plate off.Tractor set outside for over a year without being started.It was full of water in tranmission.It was working when I parked it.Put 90 wt.gear oil in.Worked lift arms up by hand.Have I got maybe a stuck valve in pump? |

It could be anything - you will have to start looking. Start by taking the inspection cover off and make sure the control linkage is attached and operating the control valve. You are going to need a shop manual.

Sat for over a year with water in the system not good. If your where it gets cold you could well have broken parts from ice or you may have stuck valves or other such thing. Always best to pull the inspection plate before doing much else so as to know what is really going on |
