|
|
I have an old 3 point disk that used to belong to my Grandfather:
(You'll have to pardon all the stuff lying no it. You know how it is)
Unfortunately my Grandfather is long gone, and I'm not certain that it is an Oliver brand. It is a sort of green color where the rust hasn't eaten through.
Can any of you tell me if it is for sure an Oliver? And if it is, are parts available for it?
I've been thinking about rebuilding it, and don't know where to look for parts. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. |

That doesn't look like a standard 3 PT. To me, it looks more like a Case "Eagle Hitch" type set up. Case did use green paint. |

Its an Oliver Model 330 Disk. If I remember correctly it came out with the Super series tractors and was built into the 3-digit era. Wear parts like blades and axels should still be available, but I cant say for sure. |

Here is a scan of the literature for the 330 Disc. Literature is dated 1959

Thanks for the picture and information guys. It looks exactly like the picture in that ad.
Any idea where parts might be found? There have been so made mergers in farm equipment I have no idea what happened to the Oliver name. |

I have the exact same one, there is a serial tag
on it, (I can't remember where) that says its a
330 oliver. It works good behind a 550 tractor. I
can't help you with parts though, mine had new
blades on it when we got it. |

I'd love to find one of those near me for behind my 550. I have the plow, 3241 but need the disc. |
