8N rim and tire help

Howdy,

I've got a 1950 8N that the rear rim outer loops have rusted out. One of the tires is almost new (11.2 x 28 ). I found a guy that has a new set of 11x28 rims. I'm trying to save from having to buy 2 new tires so my question is, will those 11.2x28 tires fit on the 11x28 rim or do i need to go ahead and purchase a set 10x28 rims?

Yes you can install the 11.2 tires on the 11 inch rim. The side walls will be almost straight up but it will work just fine

and you can squeeze 14.9's onto 12's too..
