I stumbled across this front mount blade, supposed to fit 2000-5000 tractors.
Mount and cylinder are with it, but I think the cylinder needs new packing.
The blade is slightly bent, and you can see where the right side of the frame
was broken and welded back together.
I picked it up after dark tonight, so I wasn't able to look for numbers yet.
I don't have a 2000-5000 other than the early 4000 RowCrop, but now that
I have the blade, maybe I have a reason to get one! Laughing

i agree.. owning an implement that fits a tractor you don't have does constitute a waste of resources.. so you must rectify it and get the tractor it fits! I've done that with an owners manual before!! Smile

Chris/Ron - glad you guys are behind me on this!
There's no more room in the current barn, so a new
tractor would need a new barn to keep it in.
I'm not thinking I'll get Joan to agree quite as readily! LOL

James - I'm in central Michigan

Thanks Gene, I think this is supposed to fit the 3 cylinder models.
My thought when I bought it was to modify it to fit one I already own.
I just don't own a 3 cylinder!
Sounds like a reasonable price for you tractor though, have you considered
listing it for sale in the photo ad section on the upper left?
I'm sure someone would love to have it!
