One of the tractor dealers nearby has a front end blade for sale on consignment. For a Grey Fergie.
It looks like it's only good for light duty use.
It's overgrown in the grass but looks complete and in good nick.
But he wants $AU1500 I think that's quite expensive. I was going to go for a max of $500.

So go in there and tell him your interested in the blade. As you talk to him slowly count out 5 Jolly Green Giants.
If it"s been there a long time then the added visula aid may help him decide to part with it. |

As long as it is on consignment all the dealership has to do is call the owner and tell him he has an offer on it, customer may tell the business to let the customer have it for offered price. Never know if you don't try. |

Was that sold by a taswegian? Because I believe what you are discribing is a 'snow plow' (plough) attachement, which yeah, it limited in what you can do, certainly not a bulldozer, but better than shoveling... had to be from taz...
Up here, where they are in constant use every winter, 2 to 300 US, and that can't be knackered, but all there in good working order. |
