Are the Ford 555 series backhoes good reliable machines? Can parts still be found for these or are they hard to find? Any weak points in these machines? |

Some of the common stuff is the same as tractors.Very easy to get that stuff at my local New Holland dealer.
I think the ones with the torque converters may be a weak spot ? Ours didn't run very fast up a slope on the road.
Very strong lift on the loaders. |

Your converter needs to be rebuilt. A transmission shop that does converters can do it for half of what you'll pay CNH. |
