I just picked up this unit i"m looking to find specs on the pump setup
(CFM rating and rpm)

and a recommendation for a gas motor size to run it.

The unit is on its original tray as far as i can tell, on the tray it
has
Model: R
Serial: 3264

On the pump itself has Serial: 4611
pump as 3 spoke 9" pulley (OD) with an attached after cooler i"m
guessing

Thoughts?

Thanks Joe

If you know the first stage displacement in cubic inches, divide by 10 and it will give you the electric motor horsepower required to run it. A good safe margin is to double that for a gas engine. FYI, the model of the pump is the first two digits of the pump serial number, therefore, according to that, you have a model 46 pump, which I have never heard of. I do know that thee was a Model 45 pump, and you can check another YTMag post for some info that I have mostly forgotten over the years!
Webster Stuff.

Here is a few pictures i took,

Can i reuse the head gasket without issue? (if it comes apart ok) as i will have to pull the head to check the bore/stroke to figure that out.

It has a 1725RPM 1/4hp (5.0A) motor(2" pulley) but it stalls out at about 50 PSI.

Thanks
Joe

Just placed a call to Regional Compressor Ottawa
he had limited information on it

From what he did have its 900 RPM max and 1/2-1HP and he figured around 2cfm

Thanks
Joe
