It is my understanding that no white lights facing to the rear may be ON while traveling on the road.
The tractor could have a red bullet light (factory) facing the rear or an amber flashing light (non original).
Don"t forget an up to date SMV sign! |

The 550 had a special light housing and bulb facing rear. There was a switch on the lamp housing that turned either the white sealed beam on for field work or switched to a 1156 bulb that shown through a little red window in the sealed beam for a rear red tail light.
I think the bulb was a 4610X I bought a few of these special bulbs 10 or 12 years ago. I even spoke with the engineer who held the patent on it. |

If I recall correctly the original rear white light (Headlight type) has a separate small red bulb inside the housing that is operated by small switch on the light housing. I know I have one for my 550, but never installed it. They are hard to find. |
