Chris I was looking for an old post of mine about Christmas in 1969. I could not get the search feature to find it. So I just looked at all of my posts.

What I found odd is that there is a year of posts missing in the middle. The posts jump from Monday Dec. 12, 2011 to the very next one listed on Sun Nov. 11, 2012.

It is not a big issue. I found the post I was looking for but I just wondered about this hole in the posting list.

If I forget to say it later. I wish to thank you and Kim's for your efforts in keeping this forum for us old equipment/tractor guys. So I wish you all to have a Merry Christmas!!!!

Well Chris I am not the sharpest pencil in the box so I could not figure out how to directly email you at support. LOL

When I was trying to find the old posting I could not find it when I was using the search feature. I either got zero posting or just a dump of too many. I tried Christmas and My user name etc. I did not have any luck that way.

How I did find it was going to Discussions forums in Classic View. Then choose Modern view. Then I went into Tractor Talk. I then just scrolled down to a post that I had posted. I then just click on the author's name. That brought up the Viewing profile page. I then just clicked all posts by JD Seller. It brought up some thing like 830 posts almost 55 pages worth. So I just started at the last page and kept scanning the pages working my way to the new ones. This is where I found the gap in the posts listing.

I found them. You were logged on as "JDSeller" instead of "JD Seller" during that time. There are another 3370 some posts for you without the space in the name. I could try to figure out how to consolidate them, but I'd worry that I'd make classic one way and modern the other.

But if you want to find the others, click Modern View, Search, and put JDSeller in the Author box. That will bring up the rest.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris it is not a big thing I was just curious as to what was going on. Actually I am glad they all did not show up when I was looking for the one I wanted. I would have never found it if they all had shown up.

Thanks for the explanation.
