|
|
I'm more familiar with the Fords. I'm taking a TO-20 apart and this is the air cleaner that was on the tractor. Does it look correct to you guys?
This tractor also had a cyclone air cleaner attached to it with an elbow hose. Is that how they were installed on the Ferguson's? The long strap was attached to the side of the tractor somewhere, but I don't remember what the attachment point was.
Thanks in advance for any comments or clarifications. I have a guy interested in an air cleaner for a TO-20 and don't want to misrepresent what I have. |

Hi Jim. That does indeed appear to be the original air cleaner. |

As I remember the TO 20 air cleaners I remember seeing a round screen on top not a closed up top. Could there have been two different styles??? |

Yes, they originally had a screen on top. I found that in my parts book. I believe the closed round top came with the cyclone cleaner. You took the screen off and installed the closed top because the air entered the cyclone not at the top. |
