Here are some pics of the 1200s and 1470. They are all one of a kind and built from light gage brass and steel. Wheels and tires from Dakota Toys, the rest fabed from RC parts and whatever I could find that I could adapt. I also built an Amco F15 24' disc for the 1470. The last pic is another 1200 which has been 25 years in the making. It looks like it went threw a barn fire. HeHe I also started building a pair of CHT plows and squadron hitch for the 1200. Gotta get after that ,one of these days.It took me about 50hrs. each to build the tractors and disc.

WOW is the best way I can describe them, you did a great job on both. I know they both took many hrs of tedious work. Just to hunt down some parts that would work is a challenge. You have something there to be proud of. Were did you come up with the correct decals for nonproduction units? Rod. |

Rod,
See my reply to Gregg above I met this kid about 40 years back The pics. are the side boards that I made, for the Dakota PU that I drove when the Magnums came out. Bobie freehand air brushed these grafics for me. Hard to believe they are 25 yrs old now, and still shine. I took them off the PU in 93 when I left RIs and became an operater for a construction Co.

Those are amazingly detailed replicas. I wish I had the skill and patience to build something even half that well. |
