I reciently had a head job done on my Ferguson TO20 and now oil gets into the 2nd and 3rd cylinder. Is this an indication the that the guides were installed incorrectly? |

when you have the head redone, it puts more pressure on the rings.
the motor will start smoking as the extra compression gets by the rings. |

You mentioned two cylinders that are next to each other . Does this ring a bell for anybody ?
Are you getting any oil in the radiator or water in the crankcase ? I am thinking , possibly a head gasket .
Is it smoking , or fouling plugs ? Is it running smooth , or misfiring ?
Have you run a compression check ? If it wasn't using oil brfore , I wouldn't suspect the rings yet . |
